Our testimony is that Jesus is the Son of God.
1 John 5:6 (HCSB): Jesus Christ—He is the One who came by water and blood, not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit is the One who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
1 John 5:7–8 (HCSB): For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood —and these three are in agreement.
1 John 2:23 (HCSB): No one who denies the Son can have the Father; he who confesses the Son has the Father as well.
1 John 4:15 (HCSB): Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God—God remains in him and he in God.
1 John 5:10 (HCSB): (The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him. The one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about His Son.)
1 John 1:7 (HCSB): But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
God’s testimony is greater.
1 John 5:9–10 (HCSB): If we accept the testimony of men, God’s testimony is greater, because it is God’s testimony that He has given about His Son. 10 (The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him. The one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about His Son.)
1 John 2:27 (HCSB): The anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you don’t need anyone to teach you. Instead, His anointing teaches you about all things and is true and is not a lie; just as He has taught you, remain in Him.
Our testimony should be believed
